Do I get the source code of my EA?

Accepted Answer

No, not by default. You receive the compiled binary (.ex4 for MT4, .ex5 for MT5) and setup documentation. The editable MQL4/MQL5 source code is not included in any package - if you need it, email support@robocraftfx.in to discuss availability. Every EA ships with an activation key you generate in the Client Portal. Each key is tied to one MetaTrader account number; your package states how many accounts you can activate, and you can add more at any time. Re-installing MetaTrader on an account you have already activated does not use up another activation.

Will you suggest improvements to my strategy?

Accepted Answer

No, and this is deliberate. We are a programming service: you supply the trading logic, we turn it into code. We will tell you if a rule is ambiguous, contradicts another rule, or cannot be expressed in MQL - those are coding problems and we have to raise them. What we will not do is tell you which indicator to use, what your stop should be, when to trade, or whether your idea is any good. We are not licensed to give trading or investment advice and we do not offer it, free or paid.

Question 3

Who is responsible if the EA loses money?

Accepted Answer

The strategy is yours, the settings are yours, and the decision to trade it with real money is yours. Our responsibility is that the code does what your approved specification says - if it does not, that is a bug and we fix it free of charge, for as long as you own the EA. What the strategy does in the market is outside our control and outside what we can be responsible for. Test on a demo account first, always.

Which trading platforms do you support?

We code custom Expert Advisors, indicator scripts and utilities for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). We also port strategies you already have in TradingView (Pine Script) or NinjaTrader across to MT4/5, keeping your logic as written.

What is your revision and bug-fix policy?

We offer a 30-day revision window start-to-finish after delivery to make minor adjustments to execution rules or UI parameters. If you discover a functional bug that deviates from your initial scoping sheet, we fix it free of charge indefinitely.

Question 6

Do you backtest or optimise my strategy?

Accepted Answer

No. We compile the EA and verify it behaves the way your specification says it should - that is a code check, not a trading test. We do not run historical performance tests for you, we do not tune your parameters to improve results, and we do not tell you which settings to use. Every input is exposed in the EA so you can run MetaTrader's Strategy Tester yourself, on your own broker's data, and reach your own conclusions. Optimising a strategy against past data is also how curve-fitting happens, and that is a decision that should sit with the person taking the risk.

Do I need a VPS (Virtual Private Server)?

An EA only runs while MetaTrader is open and connected, so most people run it on a VPS rather than a home PC. We do not host EAs. We provide setup documentation and a list of commonly used VPS providers; which one you use, and where it is located, is your call.
